SIMADYN D is the system used to implement highly dynamic technology and drive control systems. This modular, CFC-freely configurable, modular control system in multi-processor technology processes all control, computation, control and communication tasks of continuously changing data at maximum speed.

SIMADYN D is configured with the windows-based graphical SIMATIC tools STEP 7, CFC (Continuous Function Chart) and SFC (Sequential Function Chart). The SIMATIC software packages are supplemented by software package D7-SYS, which contains the function blocks for SIMADYN D and the very fast operating system.
